Revelan detalles de la evolución de las galaxias que se zambullen en los cúmulos

Un estudio liderado por un equipo del Instituto de Astronomía Teórica y Experimental (IATE), mediante simulaciones computacionales, explica la transformación que sufren aquellas galaxias que ingresan a un cúmulo y vuelven a salir.

Descubrimiento de una galaxia inesperadamente solitaria

Un equipo internacional del que participa Carlos Donzelli, investigador del Instituto de Astronomía Teórica y Experimental (IATE) y del Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba, hicieron un hallazgo que podría desafiar los tiempos en los que se espera que crezcan las galaxias. Estos resultados se obtuvieron utilizando datos del Observatorio Chandra de Rayos X de la NASA y el Observatorio Internacional Gemini.

Agujeros negros con carga eléctrica como alternativa a la materia oscura

Un equipo internacional co-dirigido por Nelson Padilla, investigador del Instituto de Astronomía Teórica y Experimental (IATE), publicaron un artículo que vincula los agujeros negros, las cargas eléctricas y la materia oscura.
