SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT<\/span><\/p>\n

The Local Organizing Committee of the 8th Friends of Friends Meeting would like to remind you about the next edition of this meeting, to be held in the Astronomical Observatory of C\u00f3rdoba, located in the city of C\u00f3rdoba, from 3rd – 6th April 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

Up to now we can confirm the attendance of the following speakers:<\/span><\/p>\n

Lydia Cidale (Argentina) – Stellar atmospheres<\/span>
\n Sergio Cellone (Argentina) – Active Galactic Nuclei<\/span>
\n Fernando Roig (Brasil) – Celestial mechanics<\/span>
\n Cristina Cappa (Argentina) – Interstellar medium<\/span>
\n Jorge Cuadra (Chile) – Black holes – Gas dynamics<\/span>
\n Alberto V\u00e1zquez (Argentina) – Astrophysical plasmas<\/span>
\n Rodrigo D\u00edaz (Argentina) – Exoplanets<\/span>
\n Sergio Villanova (Chile) – Stellar populations<\/span>
\n Ra\u00fal Jimenez (Espa\u00f1a) – Astrostatistics<\/span>

As in previous editions of the FoF Meeting, in addition to talks by invited speakers, participants will have the opportunity to present their work through oral and poster contributions. Registration and abstract submission are open through the webpage of the Meeting (http:\/\/fof.oac.uncor.edu\/<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for registration has been extended to February 2, 2018. The deadline for the submission of abstract material is also February 2, 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
