The Organizing Committee of the 10th Friends of Friends Meeting (FOF)<\/strong> is pleased to announce the next edition of this meeting from April 26th to April 30th of 2021<\/em>. The event will take place virtually, respecting the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The FoF Meeting is a yearly international meeting jointly organized by the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Astronomy and the Astronomical Observatory of C\u00f3rdoba<\/a>. It aims to encourage interactions between members of the local and international communities and promote the creation of new collaboration networks in a friendly atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to talks by invited speakers, participants will have the opportunity to present their work through oral contributions. Registration is now open through the webpage of the Meeting<\/a>. To apply for a contributed talk please fill the form in the web page before March 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting format will consist in discussion sessions based on pre-recorded invited and contributed talks which will be available on the meeting website one week before the start date. During the week of the meeting, in the online discussion sessions the pre-recorded talks will be addressed. The talks will be grouped according to the topics and sessions will be led by moderators.<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage participants to present a contributed talk. The suggested maximum length for contributed talks is 15 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite you to circulate this announcement among potentially interested colleagues and we remain at your disposal to clarify any doubts you may have.<\/span><\/p>\n
