translation-block\">Between December 3 and 5, 2025, the <strong>IV Workshop on the Halo-Galaxy Connection<\/strong> was successfully held at the <strong>Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics, and Computing (FaMAF) \u2013 UNC<\/strong>, organized by the <strong>Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Astronomy (IATE, CONICET-UNC)<\/strong> and <strong>endorsed by the C\u00f3rdoba Astronomical Observatory (OAC, UNC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">El encuentro cont\u00f3 con <strong>20 exposiciones<\/strong>\u00a0de\u00a0<strong>11 instituciones<\/strong>\u00a0de 5 pa\u00edses (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Espa\u00f1a y M\u00e9xico), junto a una audiencia activa que particip\u00f3 en discusiones y sesiones de intercambio, totalizando alrededor de\u00a0<strong>30 asistentes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph translation-block\">Throughout three days, the program combined <strong>scientific presentations in the morning<\/strong> and <strong>thematic debates in the afternoon<\/strong>, addressing key research lines such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Halo occupancy and galaxy-halo modeling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Secondary bias and cosmic environment effects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Baryonic physics and gas processes in galaxies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Machine learning applications in cosmology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Alignment and evolution of shapes and angular momenta<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph translation-block\">The workshop allowed for the identification of <strong>open questions<\/strong>, <strong>methodological limitations<\/strong>, and <strong>future directions<\/strong>, highlighting the need to standardize metrics, improve numerical simulations, and prepare for upcoming large-scale surveys such as LSST, DESI, and Euclid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph translation-block\">As a result, the development of a <strong>collaborative review document<\/strong> was planned to synthesize definitions, methodologies, and best practices in the field, consolidating the role of C\u00f3rdoba's institutions in international astronomical research.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>Links of
