Resumen: I will talk about the potential of Rubin LSST to usher in a new era of time-domain astronomy and how the scientific community, organized in the Rubin LSST Science Collaborations, is preparing to fulfill the survey’s promises. I will also remark on data-driven studies across domains, including studies of the dynamics of urban environments to improve citizens’ quality of life through the applications of data science, and even astrophysis methodologies, to city images.
