Abstract: Along with the appearance of cloud computing, cloud storage and real-time analysis, streaming technologies have been growing in complexity over the last decade. In this talk I will attempt to cover some of the streaming basic concepts; some of the latest developments in the software industry; and how we can leverage them in mid-to-large science projects.
